Simply sign up by filling out the registration form with some basic information. Once you submit the form, you’ll have access to the Growth Plan and your free trial begins!
The free trial is 21 days (3 weeks). However, we totally understand that work gets busy and you might need more time to explore Talkbase. If you need an extension for your free trial, please reach out to us at support@talkbase.io and we’d be happy to help you.
You’ll have access to Talkbase’s Growth Plan while on the free trial. For details on the features included in the Growth Plan, visit our Pricing page here.
At the end of the free trial, your Talkbase workspace will be downgraded to the Hobby Plan. You can view details on the Hobby Plan on our Pricing page. Don’t worry, all of your data will be retained (for example, if you exceed the Hobby Plan limits at the time the free trial ends, you won’t lose any of your data or integrations). However, you will not be able to do any further actions or add more data that further exceeds the Hobby Plan without upgrading.
Yes! We totally understand sometimes work can get busy and you might not have the sufficient time to play around before the free trial ends. Simply email us at support@talkbase.io and we’d be happy to assist.
“CRM Contacts” are the number of people you can have as Contacts in your CRM. With the free trial, you can add up to 1,000 contacts to your CRM. We also have ad-hoc pricing items, in the event you need to add more CRM Contacts but don’t necessarily need our Pro Plan features. This way, there is a suitable plan for every community size.
Yes, and in fact, we highly recommend doing so! As a first step in setting up your Talkbase workspace, we recommend syncing your community with Talkbase. This way you have your CRM contacts added automatically, and member data and activities are automatically synced. Setting up an integration during the free trial will allow you to better see the benefits of using Talkbase.

We understand communities evolve differently and you may find yourself in between plans. If you find yourself in this position, we recommend allowing for growing room and going with the higher plan tier. If this is not doable for you, please email us at support@talkbase.io and we'd be happy to chat to see if there is something we can do to accommodate your needs.
If you go over your plan limit during the free trial, at the end of the trial your data will be retained, though various actions or adding more data may be blocked unless you upgrade your plan. If you have passed the free trial and are using the Hobby Plan, you will not be able to exceed the plan limit without upgrading.
